Strawberrries and cream

Homemade Whip Cream

Written By: Shantel Whitford

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes (beat time)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 4 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla

Instructions

Place metal bowl and metal whisk into the freezer for 10-15 minutes. Using an electric mixer is recommended.

Whip together the sugar, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla until the cream reaches stiff peaks.

We love homemade whipping cream! It's our favorite with strawberries and waffles. It also makes a tasty low-sugar topping for cake or any dessert, and the recipe can be modified to use even less sugar, if you’d like. Sometimes we add fresh berries and/or use almond extract instead of vanilla to change it up! Either way, dipping fresh sliced strawberries into whip cream is a great treat!
