Chocolate Milkshakes

Written By: Shantel Whitford

Prep Time: 5 minutes

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • ¼ cup chocolate syrup
  • ½ cup whole milk (cold)
  • ¼ cup of chocolate chips

Place the ice cream, milk, and chocolate syrup into the blender. Don't waste any time after scooping, you don't want the ice cream to melt too much. If you're adding chocolate chips, you can also throw those in now.

Blend until completely smooth.

Pour into your glasses immediately and top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.

This is such a quick and easy treat in the evening or on a hot day! The kids always get excited when we get out the blender and the ice cream! There are so many flavor variations, we love to add fruit like frozen banana or huckleberries. You can also add a ½ cup of peanut butter or a few Oreos to change it up!
