Best Ever Sausage Gravy

  • 12 oz sausage
  • 1 package of bacon chopped
  • 1 Tbsp chopped garlic
  • ΒΌ cup of butter
  • 1.5 cups of flour
  • 6 cups of milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste


In a large skillet or pan brown the sausage, chopped bacon, butter, and garlic until cooked on medium-high heat. Add in flour and stir until incorporated then cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Whisk in milk and bring to a simmer. Gravy will thicken. If it's too thick you can add more milk. Once the gravy reaches your desired consistency turn off the skillet and enjoy!

Anytime is gravy time at our house! We love to enjoy this for any meal! Not only is this delicious on top of fresh-baked biscuits, but it's also great on top of tater tots or hashbrowns! Fry up a couple of over-easy eggs and enjoy!
